6 years agoToronto Blue Jays rookie catcher Danny Jansen was 2-for-2 with a run scored and a walk in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Jansen endured a dismal cold streak during the first few weeks of September, but he's now batting .313 with two homers and five RBI over his last seven games. Jansen is the future behind-the-plate for the Blue Jays. He has been a productive minor league hitter over the past two seasons and an offseason of MLB training should only improve his fortunes heading into 2019.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
