6 years agoCleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson officially named quarterback Baker Mayfield as the starter moving forward. "I informed the group this morning that we're going to start Baker Mayfield and Tyrod will be the backup if healthy," Jackson said. This was not a secret after Taylor suffered a concussion right before halftime on Thursday night and then Mayfield led the team to a comeback win over the Jets in the second half. Mayfield has way more upside than Taylor and gives this offense a better chance to reach its ceiling. The rookie has swagger and determination, but he'll also have his ups and downs. He'll be an option in two-QB leagues immediately. His presence under center raises the value of Cleveland's pass-catchers, too.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
