6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker (face) suffered a facial contusion when he was hit by a pitch on Monday. Walker was hitless in four plate appearances with two strikeouts before suffering his injury. He'll likely be evaluated for a concussion as well. Walker's season line drops to .163/.226/.388 with three homers and six RBI in just 53 plate appearances as a bench option in 2018.
