6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi allowed one run on four hits through five innings of work in Monday's 6-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Eovaldi struck out 10 batters in the contest, which was a season-high. This was likely the final start of the regular season for Eovaldi and his role for the postseason is still unknown. The 28-year-old was a solid trade deadline acquisition for the Red Sox as he compiled a 3-3 record, 3.46 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 44/12 K/BB ratio through 52 innings with the team. He will be an unrestricted free agent heading into the 2019 offseason.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
