6 years agoToronto Blue Jays infielder Lourdes Gurriel (hamstring) is out for the remainder of the season after injuring his hamstring on Monday. With the regular season ending on Sunday, it didn't make any sense for the Blue Jays to take any chances with the rookie. He displayed flashes of his potential at times this year, but he remained pretty inconsistent for fantasy owners. The 24-year-old hit .281/.309/.446 with 11 home runs and 35 RBI in 65 games. He should be a starter for the rebuilding Blue Jays next season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
