6 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson (wrist) will undergo an MRI exam on his left hand/wrist after he left the game early on Tuesday. This has the potential to be a serious injury for the shortstop, and it should be noted that he also missed around two weeks with a similar injury earlier this year. While he hasn't been as good as his double-play partner Ozzie Albies, Swanson is an important part of this club, and it'd be a big blow if they lost him for the postseason. Infielders Charlie Culberson or Johan Camargo could fill in at shortstop for however long Swanson is out. Stay tuned for more details on his injury on Wednesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
