6 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy said outfielder Hunter Pence will hit leadoff for the final four games of the regular season. Pence homered and scored three runs in the extra-inning win over the Padres on Tuesday and has hit .255 with two homers and five RBI in 17 games this month. On the season, though, Pence has a weak slash line of .228/.263/.333 with only four home runs and 23 RBI. He'll be a free agent this winter and is unlikely to return in 2019. Hitting leadoff the close out the year makes Pence a little more attractive as a deep DFS sleeper.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
