6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa (foot) said that he will likely be out at least until the team's bye week, which is in Week 8. He had his cast removed this week and is now in a protective boot, but there remains instability in the tendon of his bruised left foot. Bosa's absence has been a huge loss for a talented Chargers defense, and they'll have to be without him for at least another four games. Despite his absence, LA's defense/special teams remains a strong play this week against a Niners team that will have quarterback C.J. Beathard under center. They also have enticing matchups coming up against the Raiders at home, Browns on the road, Titans at home and Seahawks on the road.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
