6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff is lined up to start against the Braves on Friday in place of Zach Eflin (oblique), who is done for the year with a strained oblique, according to manager Gabe Kapler. Eickhoff has pitched two innings this month but missed the rest of the season due to an injury. The Phils will give him a look with him having a shot at a rotation spot next year.
