6 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson (hand) has been diagnosed with a partially torn ligament in his left hand. He will undergo treatment in Atlanta for the rest of the week and then be re-evaluated next week before the start of the playoffs. Swanson injured himself on a swing in the game Tuesday. There's a chance that he won't be available at all in the postseason, which would be a big blow to Atlanta up the middle. Charlie Culberson and Johan Camargo are the best options to replace him at the 6 for however long he'll be out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
