6 years agoBoston Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel entered the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader down 6-3 in the ninth inning. He only recorded a single out while allowing four runs. His control was wild as he issued three walks. The outing ballooned his 2.21 ERA all the way up to 2.79. Regardless, it has still been a productive season from the 30-year-old. Kimbrel converted 42-of-47 save opportunities while recording a scintillating 13.65 K/9. He has reached 31 or more saves in every season since 2011. Kimbrel is one of the best fantasy closer options in the business and will continue to be a stalwart heading into 2019.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
