Kris Bryant Remains Sidelined On Thursday
6 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant remains out of the lineup on Thursday versus the Pirates. It will be Bryant’s second straight game out of the lineup. Bryant got hit on the wrist on Tuesday and remains day-to-day. David Bote will replace Bryant in the lineup and will bat ninth. Bote has struggled over the past month and is nothing more than a dart throw in DFS versus Trevor Williams. Bryant has shown a decrease in power since being activated from the disabled list with a shoulder injury. Bryant has had an injury plagued season and will look to get back on track for the playoffs.
