6 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers believe tackle Joe Staley (knee) avoided a serious injury in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Staley went down in the first half and did not return. He was seen limping with a brace on his right knee after the game but the Niners are optimistic there isn’t significant damage to his ACL. He’ll undergo an MRI on Monday. If the perennial Pro Bowler is forced to miss time, things would become even more challenging for quarterback C.J. Beathard and the injury-riddled 49ers offense.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
