6 years agoDetroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall (undisclosed) will not play in Thursday's season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Kronwall reportedly tweaked something during a preseason game, but the injury remains unknown. This should not have much of an impact on fantasy teams as the veteran rearguard has entered the twilight of his career. He has not recorded over 40 points since 2014-15 and can be avoided for fantasy purposes. --Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
