6 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is off to his usual fantasy-friendly start, combining his rushing prowess and passing-game efficiency into eight total touchdowns. He'll more than likely need the rushing numbers to sustain a solid outing in Week 5 as he takes on a Giants defense that has been stingy against the pass. New York is allowing just 229 yards through the air thus far, and they have surrendered just four passing touchdowns. This includes a Week 4 contest in which they held Drew Brees to 217 yards, zero touchdowns, and his lowest completion percentage of the season. The Giants have also been weak against the run, so look for this to be a game in which the Panthers lean heavily on Christian McCaffrey instead of asking Newton to air it out.--Chris O'Reilly
