Anze Kopitar Snipes First Goal Of Season
6 years agoLos Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar scored his first goal of the season during a 3-2 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks. Kopitar is coming off of the best offensive season of his career that saw him tally 35 goals and 57 assists in 82 games. He is one of the best two-way forwards in the entire league and gained an elite winger over the summer with the addition of Ilya Kovalchuk. Although he may be hard-pressed to replicate the numbers he put up last season, he should still be able to reach the 80 point plateau with ease.
