6 years agoSeattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas (leg) will have surgery to have a rod inserted into his broken leg this week, according to a source. The rod will increase the chances of healing and lower the refracture rate. Thomas should be 100 percent before free agency kicks off. With Thomas and Seattle at odds over a contract extension, he's fully expected to be playing elsewhere in 2019.
