6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Phil Di Giuseppe will make his season debut on Sunday against the Rangers, replacing Valentin Zykov in the lineup. Zykov played on the third line and logged time on the first power play unit, but clearly failed to impress head coach Rod Brind'Amour in the first couple of games. He managed a total of three shots on goal and nothing else. Di Giuseppe played 49 games for Carolina last season, netting five goals and collecting 12 points, nine of which came in the final nine games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
