6 years agoX-rays turned up negative on San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida (ankle) after he had to be helped off the field in the Week 5 loss to the Cardinals, according to a source. He is being listed with an ankle sprain. Breida could miss time, but it's not the worst-case scenario. If Breida is unable to play in Week 6 against the Packers, Alfred Morris would turn into a volume-based RB2. Despite the injury Sunday, Breida was able to help his fantasy owners with eight carries for 56 yards and a five-yard touchdown pass.
