6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson (ankle) did not finish the game in Sunday's win over the Packers. However, his outlook after the game was positive, saying "Yeah, I think I could have played, if needed." Before exiting the game in the second half, Johnson rushed for 70 yards on 12 carries, while also hauling in his two targets for 15 yards. It was another solid performance for the rookie from Auburn, however, the continued presence of LeGarrette Blount takes away from Johnson's upside, as Blount fell into the endzone twice in the first quarter. Luckily for Johnson and the Lions, they have Week 6 off so he can nurse his injury and be ready to go in Week 7 against the Dolphins.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
