6 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano will not face criminal charges for his involvement in an accident in the Dominican Republic on Sunday after he hit a police officer and broke his leg. Sano was speaking to an officer after leaving a club and backed his pickup truck up without realizing that the officer hadn't moved his motorcycle behind him. He was detained and questioned before being released. It's good news for a player that was accused last December of sexual assault and who hit just .199 in 71 games for the Twins in 2018.
