6 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin picked up two goals with a plus-two rating and a game-high seven shots on net in Wednesday's 5-2 win against the Vegas Golden Knights. With the two goals he passed Hall of Famer Bobby Hull (610 goals) and moved into sole possession of 17th on the NHL's all-time goals list. Ovie is certainly not resting on his laurels after drinking from Lord Stanley's grail for the first time over the summer. He has notched at least one goal in each of his team's three goals, tallying four goals with an assist and a plus-3 rating on 15 shots on goal. It looks like Ovechkin is not just satisfied with one Stanley Cup championship, but hopeful of adding his name the Cup again.--Daniel Dobish
