6 years agoWashington Capitals defenseman John Carlson posted two power-play assists with a plus-one rating in Wednesday's 5-2 win against the Vegas Golden Knights. The productive rearguard has been on fire, posting three consecutive multi-point efforts to open the season, tallying two goals and four assists with a plus-5 rating. Four of his points have come on Washington's tremendous power-play unit. Carlson will look to keep up the multi-point streak when the Caps roll into New Jersey to take on the Devils on Thursday night.--Daniel Dobish
