Chris Thompson Could See Volume If Healthy
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (ribs) is one of several skill position players coming off an injury heading into Sunday's bout with the Panthers. As such, fantasy owners will want to keep an eye on his status before inserting him into starting lineups. His best-case scenario is a high volume of targets left available by an injury-plagued and unproductive corps of wide receivers. The Panthers have been effective against the run, so this is precisely the kind of matchup in which Thompson's pass-catching prowess is normally useful. If Thompson or Adrian Peterson are limited or inactive, Kapri Bibbs could be in line for some work.
