6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis hauled in a 22-yard touchdown catch on Sunday against Carolina. He finished with a team-high 48 receiving yards and caught all three of his targets. As far as his fantasy value going forward, it's probably best to look at Sunday's performance as an outlier. Outside of Sunday's game and his 70-yard showing in Week 3 against the Packers, Davis has four catches for 31 yards. He also has yet to see more than three targets in a game, making him almost entirely touchdown-dependent even in PPR formats. Jordan Reed is still the tight end to trust in Washington's offense.--Chris O'Reilly
