6 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns helped Joe Pavelski open the scoring on Sunday against New Jersey and didn't do a thing wrong during the whole game, although the team ended up suffering another loss. Burns was on the ice for both of the team's goals and finished with four shots and a plus-two rating while playing over 25 minutes. He now sits on a three-game point streak, having collected a total of four points -- all assists -- during the run. Burns had a shockingly poor shooting percentage last season (3.6 percent) and unfortunately, there haven't been any signs of improvement yet. The days of him getting 20-plus goals seem to be over.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
