6 years agoNew York Jets running back Bilal Powell was unable to get it going against the Colts on Sunday. Despite getting 16 touches, the veteran finished the day racking up only 59 yards for a subpar 3.7 yards per carry. As expected, Powell continued to split carries with running back Isaiah Crowell, who was at risk of missing this one with an ankle injury but still managed to finish with 40 yards on 13 carries. Unless one or the other suffers an injury, the Jets will continue to employ a committee approach for the foreseeable future, making Powell a boom-or-bust option moving forward.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
