6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (illness) was admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital on Sunday after dealing with a stomach illness. He was not with the team for Game 2 and will be kept overnight for evaluation. It could explain while the team's ace was uncharacteristically wild in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Saturday, walking four while striking out five and allowing two earned runs in four innings to the Astros. It's unclear if this ailment will keep him from making his next start of the series. That would be terrible news for the Red Sox's chances in this series.
