6 years agoNew Jersey Devils right wing Drew Stafford is expected to make his first appearance of the season in Thursday's matchup against the Avalanche. The experienced winger played for New Jersey last season and he took part of the training camp, but Stafford was signed to a new one-year deal only on Oct. 5, so he wasn't able to force his way straight into the lineup. The former 30-goal scorer had eight goals and 15 points in 59 games for the Devils last season. He's replacing John Quenneville and is set to line up alongside Marcus Johansson and Pavel Zacha, looking to improve some very good career numbers -- 12 points in 15 games -- he has against the Avs.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
