Chris Thompson Has High Floor If Active
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson is still navigating his way through injury concerns that held him out of last week's game. If he suits up against Dallas on Sunday, he could be in line for a ton of passing-game work out of the backfield. The Cowboys have stifled opposing wide receivers this season, allowing just 10.5 receptions and 147.5 yards per game to the position. In fact, only the Lions have seen opposing quarterbacks target wide receivers fewer times per game than the Cowboys. The Redskins have an underwhelming collection of receivers to begin with, so look for them to combat the Cowboys' pass defense with enough dink-and-dunk work for Thompson to warrant flex consideration in PPR leagues.
