6 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers still have no definitive timetable for the return of defensive end Joey Bosa (foot). Team officials remain "hopeful" that he will return in the second half of the season, but there are no guarantees as to when that might be, according to sources. He has met with specialists and is trying to avoid season-ending surgery, but he hasn't been able to do much football activity to this point. Bosa will have his foot re-evaluated in the second half of the season. There's a chance he could return in Week 9 after their bye, but that date seems a bit ambitious given his lengthy absence. The Chargers will re-evaluate Bosa during their bye week, but don't expect him to return anytime soon. He's one of the best young pass rushers when he's healthy, but he continues to battle injuries early in his career.
