6 years agoNew England Patriots running back Kenjon Barner got some rare playing time in Week 7, adding 36 yards on 10 carries in the Patriots 38-31 win over the Bears. Running back Sony Michel exited the game early with a lower-leg injury and Barner was thrust into action. He ran with purpose and helped move the chains on some scoring drives. It is unclear of the extent of Michel's injury moving forward but Barner could see an significant spike in playing time over the next few games.
