6 years agoWinnipeg Jets right wing Blake Wheeler buried an empty-netter to close out a 5-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday. Wheeler now has two goals and four assists through eight games this season. The 32-year-old delivered the best season of his career in 2017-18 with 23 goals and 68 assists. While those lofty totals will be hard to match, Wheeler is a virtual lock to cross the 70-point plateau playing alongside Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele on the top line.
