6 years agoNew York Rangers defenseman Neal Pionk had a team-high six shots on goal and recorded a power-play assist in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Flames. Had also had one block and one hit in 25:06 on the ice. Pionk led all defenseman in power-play time with 1:39 and he also registered the most minutes shorthanded with 2:16. The organization is putting some great trust into Pionk and he hasn't disappointed so far. There was a pointless run at the start of the season, but he's now got four points in two games and, with his minutes skyrocketing. there should be more to come.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
