6 years agoNew York Jets safety Doug Middleton (pectoral), who was filling in for Marcus Maye in Week 7 against the Vikings, suffered a torn pectoral and is out for the season, according to a source. The Jets will now be down to their third safety in Terrence Brooks. Gang Green was also without cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson and Buster Skrine on Sunday, so their secondary is completely vulnerable right now. If Maye, Johnson and Skrine can't return this week, Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky and his receivers could have a big day.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
