6 years agoWashington Capitals defenseman John Carlson was good for a goal, two assists, a plus-one rating, a minor penalty and two hits across 26:06 of ice time in Monday's 5-2 road victory against the Vancouver Canucks. Carlson chipped in with a pair of helpers on the man advantage, and he was able to extend his goal-scoring streak to three games. He has lit the lamp in five of his eight outings to date, too, serving as one of the top offensive defensemen in fantasy hockey.
