6 years agoCalgary Flames left wing Matthew Tkachuk was good for two assists, a plus-two rating, a shot on net and two hits across 17:59 of ice time in Tuesday's 3-2 road loss against the Montreal Canadiens. Tkachuk has really stepped up his game, and having that 'A' for assistant captain on his chest really seems to have spurred him on. Having great bloodlines doesn't hurt, either. He has managed three goals with 12 points and a plus-4 rating across nine games, posting at least one point in seven of his outings thus far. Tkachuk has emerged as a must-start in most fantasy pools.--Daniel Dobish
