6 years agoArizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper looked unbeatable on Tuesday against the Blue Jackets, stopping 35 pucks to pick up his first win of the season. His second start of the year got off to an awful start, as the Jackets scored with just a half a minute played, but Kuemper recovered in spectacular fashion, making 34 straight saves. Kuemper has put together a solid record as a career backup, going 54-42-19 in 133 appearances with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage, so he looks like a solid option between the pipes whenever Antti Raanta gets the night off.
