6 years agoSan Jose Sharks left wing Tomas Hertl scored a goal and added a short-handed assist during a 5-4 win over the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. Hertl has three goals and six assists through nine games this season. The 24-year-old is now in his sixth NHL season and sees his offensive usage continue to grow. He is a key part of the second power-play unit and sees top-six minutes alongside Logan Couture and Timo Meier. He has never scored over 46 points in an NHL campaign but he has a likely shot at reaching the 50-point plateau for the first time in his career this season.
