6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy has to be top-notch on Wednesday with the team visiting the Colorado Avalanche, who boast the league's hottest line. Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen, and Gabriel Landeskog have combined 43 points through nine games, with only Landeskog failing to pick up points from every outing. Vasilevskiy has just had his worst game of the season, allowing five goals on 34 shots in a 5-4 overtime loss at Minnesota, so he's in a really difficult spot to bounce back.
