6 years agoFlorida Panthers left wing Mike Hoffman scored the decisive goal in Wednesday's 3-2 result against the Islanders to help the team record only their second win of the season. Assisted by Keith Yandle and Aleksander Barkov, Hoffman netted one on a power play in overtime to extend his goal-scoring streak to three games. The Panthers found themselves in a big hole again, being 2-0 down ahead of the third period, but they outshot the Islanders 41-22 and got rewarded for their efforts in the end. Hoffman now has four goals for the season in eight games and he'll be taking a six-game point streak to Saturday's matchup against the Devils.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
