Jordan Reed Dropping On The Tight End Ladder
6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed has not had the fantasy season his investors had hoped for. A matchup with the reeling Giants could help him turn things around in Week 8, as they have given up double-digit PPR points to the position in three of their last five games. That said, the most concerning aspect of Reed's struggles has actually been his own team. Thanks to a defense that prevents games from getting out of hand and an effective rushing attack, the Redskins have attempted the second fewest passes in the NFL. Reed's stature among an unimpressive group of Washington pass-catchers means he'll always be in the mix, but the low number of opportunities is turning him into a fringe TE1.
