6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have claimed former White Sox catcher Kevan Smith off waivers and added him to their 40-man roster. In order to make room, the team has designated catcher Joe Hudson for assignment. The Angels had a flurry of different catchers in the second half last season after trading Martin Maldonado. Smith hit .292 with three home runs in 52 games, and doesn't represent a strong fantasy option.--patton
