Buccaneers Defense Riddled With Injuries Up Front
6 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be missing star defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and free-agent signee Vinny Curry this coming Sunday against the Bengals. The pair was out last week against Kansas City as well and that front seven was gashed by Kareem Hunt. This situation puts Joe Mixon squarely in play as a high-end RB1 this weekend at home. The Buccaneers are going to have trouble disrupting up front and creating pressure so the offense as a whole gets a boost in what should be a high-scoring affair. With arguably the worst secondary in the NFL, the lack of pressure will make them mince-meat. They are in no way worth consideration in fantasy.
