6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garcon has drawn trade interest from multiple teams with the deadline approaching on Tuesday, Oct. 30, according to sources. San Francisco has fielded calls from at least three teams in the last week and are expected to continue doing so after their Week 8 game against the Cardinals. The 32-year-old is coveted because of his talent and leadership. He's scheduled to make $6.6 million in base salary this year and $5.6 million next year. With the Niners unlikely to make the postseason, it'd make sense for them to try to get something for him. Garcon hasn't scored yet this year and is out this week due to injury. If he were to leave town, it'd be good news for receivers Marquise Goodwin, Dante Pettis and Trent Taylor. Garcon isn't really worth holding onto in shallow mixed leagues at this time, although a trade to a better team could make him more attractive.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
