6 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron caught all three of his targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in the team's 42-28 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. What would have been a forgettable game for the former Detroit Lion was largely salvaged by a 20-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter. Fantasy owners should be concerned that the return of No. 1 tight end Jack Doyle took away significant receiving work from Ebron, with Doyle catching six passes of his own and also finding the end zone. It seems likely that Ebron will return to his touchdown-dependent boom or bust projection for the rest of 2018 if Doyle remains healthy, where Ebron should carry more value in standard formats and Doyle in PPR. The Colts have a Week 9 bye week coming up before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10.--TMax-12
