6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that closer Kenley Jansen "is available tonight to back up Kersh" and will get "the best part of their lineup" in Game 5 of the World Series against the Red Sox on Sunday. Jansen has pitched on back-to-back days already and has blown saves each time out, allowing two earned runs on two solo home runs in his three innings pitched. The big right-hander was solid all year and earlier in the postseason, but he has struggled against Boston. In a must-win situation, Jansen will be available when they need him most, which might come earlier than he's used to being deployed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
