6 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver John Brown had three receptions for 28 yards against Carolina in Week 8. His 28 receiving yards tied a season low, but what is even more troubling is that he averaged a season-worst 9.3 yards per reception, as his longest catch was just 14 yards. Prior to this week, the 28-year-old's 24-yard catch against the Titans was the shortest of his longest receptions of the season. The good news is that the fifth-year veteran who has four games of at least 86 yards is seeing a little over seven targets a game. As a result, Brown is a solid WR2 the rest of the way.--Daniel Benjamin
