BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 10% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: For those of you wanting to see the Demaryius Thomas trade rumors go away, you had your day made when Thomas was traded to the Texans. With this trade, Courtland Sutton becomes the WR2 in Denver and, even though Thomas hasn’t been great as the WR2 this year, Sutton will still see his stock rise.
Sutton is coming off of a nice game against the Chiefs, where he caught three balls for 78 yards, and has two touches in the last four weeks. He is averaging 19.1 yards per catch this season and, while he has caught just 17 of his 37 passes this season, his increased role will likely see his value rise. Sutton does have 50 receiving yards in three of the last five games and will now be the second option in Denver behind Emmanuel Sanders.
Put in your claim now, as we will all likely be fighting over him after the trade went down. The early bird gets the worm! For now, it might not be essential to pick up Sutton in more shallow leagues, but he is worth a claim in most formats.
