6 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings defense was riding high heading into Week 8, after putting up three straight double-digit fantasy point performances. Unfortunately, the unit came crashing back down to earth against a high-flying New Orleans Saints offense. The Vikings gave up 24 points and failed to record a sack for the first time this season. Harrison Smith managed to pick off Drew Brees in the second quarter, but that was all the fantasy production they could muster. They have a far more forgiving matchup in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions and can serve as a mid-tier fantasy defense for that contest.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
